Oman participates in GCC Environmental Affairs committee meeting

A delegation from the Environment Authority of the Sultanate of Oman attended the 24th meeting of the Committee of Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council. As part of the video-conference meeting, the delegation from the Sultanate of Oman was led by Dr. Abdullah Ali Al Amri, Chairman of the Environment Authority.

Oman participates in GCC Environmental Affairs committee meetingThe GCC Secretariat General reviewed a memorandum on the communique and the Riyadh Declaration of the 24th GCC Summit. The meeting also discussed non-tariff restrictions on environment, the GCC Environment e-Portal and cooperation with the programme of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), as well as the proposal study of the Kingdom of Bahrain to reduce plastic pollution.
